They all say the same thing.
"We have the newest and greatest product that you've ever seen. We need to be part of your beauty store."
Of course they can't all be the newest and greatest products, so you have to discern which go on your beauty counter. See, the key to being a good shopper is to find products that actually serve you by living up to the claims of the advertising.
So what am I doing here. Well, I'm an online beauty store owner trying to help people understand how to choose a product that is going to meet their needs. And here's my criteria.
1) Choose quality over price. Of course when you build a store from the ground up you have to offer all types of shoppers products. But if I ever go out and buy something on my own, for myself or one of my loved ones, I always make sure to buy a product that has some real value. I don't buy garbage. I hate when things break; I hate to shop around for products; and I absolutely hate when something looks great on the packaging but feels like a child's toy when I get it out of the box.
2) Go with brand names. Of course new products do come out, and every product out there was once a brand new product. But brand names come with recognition. And brands only survive if they do well. No brand will last long in this dog eat dog world of capitalism if it doesn't serve it's customers.
3) Break rule #2 only when the masses seem to agree! This past year a product has hit the internet that is getting all kinds of press. They even have celebrities backing the product. They don't sell this product in stores yet, but this hair iron is a product that nearly everyone "claims" to like. The price is fair, though not cheap, and the reviews are generally good; however, there are some poor reviews. The maker of the product doesn't have a brand that has been around for years, but again, once every blue moon you'll see a product like this, and this may be one that has broken rule number 2.
So make sure that you are a careful shopper and do what investors like to call due diligence before making any purchases. The money you spend is all hard earned. The internet is a great tool because videos offer users as examples, and videos are usually telling.
The product I'm discussing is the InStyler.
